Located in Abingdon, VA is a full-service log home manufacturer and supplier that serves every state in the USA. Homes are mainly built with eastern white pine. Customers can purchase dry-in packages or choose to have the company build the home on site. The company also makes and sells separate building components, such as doors, windows, posts and beams, log building accents, faux stone, mantels, log stairs, and laurel railings.
Katahdin Cedar Log Homes
Established since 1973, this Oakfield-based log home building company operates Maine’s largest cedar mill.
Real Log Homes
The roots of this New Hampshire design-build company go back to 1963 when the first log home was fashioned out of white pine trees. They use their own manufacturing process, which uses a machine known for high precision cutting to make pre-cut log structures.
Town & Country Cedar Homes
Opening in 1947, this company has worked coast to coast to create white cedar, flared bottoms, and burled trusses that are one the signature characteristics that distinguish the logs used by them. Most of the wood used is eastern white pine, which is durable and naturally resists decay.
Jeremiah Johnson Log Homes
A native of Minnesota, Dennis Anderson took over his family’s construction business and by 1995 expanded services to include rustic mountain homes. By the early 2000s, they were specializing in making and building homes made of lodgepole blue stain pine and western red cedar. Today, the company is the largest log building homemaker in Colorado who sell log cabin package kits, log home plans, designs, and architectural services.
